Different tempo (speeds) in music

Thanks for reading these posts, I hope you find it informative. Wondering what those jargons in music mean and how to explain it to your children? Even better still, what language is it in?

Well, western classical music originated from Europe in countries like Italy, France, Germany before spreading to other countries like America and Asia. Most of the terms you see in music scores are in Italian. I've put together a list of common music terms with picture aid to remember the different speeds.
